Job Summary
A proprietary trading firm based in Chicago, with offices in New York City and Miami, is seeking a Head of Core C++ Low Latency Development or a potential CTO to lead their core development team of 10 to 20 people. The ideal candidate will have experience in C++ low latency trading and will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance trading algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers in the design, implementation, and optimization of trading algorithms
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of trading systems
- Develop and maintain high-performance trading algorithms
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company's technology initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in C++ low latency trading development
- Experience leading a team of software engineers
- Strong understanding of financial markets and trading strategies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
