Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and versatile Graphic Designer with a strong background in digital and physical creative production. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work in a remote capacity, combining remote flexibility with in-person collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a passion for creating visually compelling content, and a strong understanding of both digital and print production processes.

Project Scope

  • Design services through December of 2026 by project
  • Training / Education in-person presentations design services
  • 5 Education presentations (working from existing materials)
  • 4 versions (US English, US Spanish, Canadian English, Canadian French)
  • Localization & WCAG compliance design services
  • 10-20 Legal documentation updates
  • 2-3 Sales promotional campaigns production assets
  • 3-6 web banners
  • 2027 Performance Year campaign production assets
  • 1-2 landing pages
  • 2-4 web banners

Responsibilities

  • Digital Design: Develop and execute digital design assets for web, social media, email campaigns, and other digital marketing channels. Create and optimize graphics for responsive websites, mobile applications, and e-commerce platforms. Ensure design consistency and brand alignment across all digital assets and brands.
  • Print Production Design: Design print materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, packaging, and banners. Prepare files for print production, ensuring all specifications are met, including color accuracy, bleed, and resolution. Collaborate with print vendors and ensure timely delivery of high-quality printed materials.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director, project leads and creative project manager to interpret briefs, conceptualize designs, and execute visual concepts. Translates facts and features of subject material into visuals and graphics that best convey the intended meaning.
  • File Management and Quality Control: Manage digital files, ensuring proper organization, version control, and adherence to project timelines. Conduct quality control checks on both digital and physical assets to ensure the final product meets the highest standards. Deliver assets that meet Digital Asset Requirements guidelines. Utilize production management tool (Workfront, Mondays, etc.) to route proofs and final files named within the job for publishing (jobs will be submitted via request queue in workfront for review & approval prior to assignment).
  • Time Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality design output. Balance work across digital and print projects, adjusting priorities as needed to meet the creative team's needs. Independently resolve problems, perform tasks and deliver assets on-time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional graphic design experience with a focus on both digital and physical production
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design skills across digital platforms and print materials

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • WCAG / Accessibility compliance standards
  • Knowledge of design principles and theory across media types
  • Creative and abstract reasoning skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in preparing files for print production, including knowledge of print processes, file formats, and specifications
  • Familiarity with current design trends, photo, video, illustration, type and digital media
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards for design quality
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a client centric mindset able to work within ambiguity to drive clarity and results
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time efficiently in a hybrid work environment
  • A creative problem-solver with a passion for design and visual storytelling
  • Develop designs based on scope/brief information
  • File management and preflight / QA ensuring standards are maintained
  • Routing and version control across various languages and markets (ex: US English master files localized to US Spanish, Canadian English and Canadian French)

Preferred Skills

  • Comfortable using AI creative tools such as Adobe Firefly, Nano Banana, etc.
  • Knowledge of web design principles and experience with tools like Figma, Sketch, or other UI/UX design software is a bonus
