General Manager

As a General Manager at Vertin, you'll lead a group of funeral home locations in the Detroit Lakes and surrounding areas, develop talented associates, and carry a mission that has mattered since 1904.

Compensation

You'll split your time between the big picture and the work that matters most. About 60% of your time is spent serving families directly as a licensed Funeral Director. The rest is focused on leading your operating group — coaching location managers, tracking performance, and building the community presence that drives long-term growth. Requirements

• Active Funeral Director / Mortician license in applicable state(s)
• - Must be able to hold a MN state mortician license
• 5+ years in funeral service, including direct oversight of others
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) as required for licensure
• Ability to read financial reports and translate results into action
• Strong communicator who builds trust at every level

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• Experience in a supervisory or management role
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
