General Corporate Attorney: 1st-2nd year
Cooley Los Angeles is seeking an entry-level or junior associate to join its dynamic, internationally recognized corporate practice. Our corporate attorneys advise entrepreneurs, investors, financial institutions, and established companies on sophisticated matters, with a significant emphasis on technology, life sciences, and other high-growth industries.
About the role
Entry-level candidates with a background reflecting a strong interest in corporate practice and junior associates with one to two years of general corporate experience involving public and/or private companies are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated interest in or experience with some combination of emerging companies and venture capital (EC/VC), debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, private equity, and other general corporate matters at a national or international law firm.
Requirements
- High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
- Entry-level candidates with a strong interest in corporate practice or junior associates with 1–2 years of general corporate experience
Pay
The expected annual pay range for this position is $225,000 - $235,000. Final offer amount will be dependent on applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
