Corporate Attorney: 1st-2nd year

About the role

Cooley’s Palo Alto office is seeking a junior associate to join its dynamic, internationally recognized corporate practice.

Responsibilities

• Solve legal issues for entrepreneurs, investors, financial institutions, and established companies.
• Focus on technology, life sciences, and other high‑growth industries.

Requirements

• One to two years of general corporate experience involving public and private companies.
• Experience representing high‑growth businesses in financings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.
• Prior work in the corporate department of a national or international law firm.

Qualifications

• High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.

Pay

The expected annual pay range for this position is $225,000 – $260,000; final offer amount will depend on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset.
