General Corporate Attorney: 1st-3rd year

About the role

Cooley’s Miami office is seeking a junior associate to join its dynamic, internationally recognized corporate practice. Associates with one to three years of general corporate experience involving private companies are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Represent high growth businesses in connection with financings, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.
• Work in the corporate department of a national or international law firm.
• Have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.

Requirements

• Candidates coming off a clerkship or with less than one full year of experience should apply directly.

• Experience representing high growth businesses in connection with financings, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.
• Worked in the corporate department of a national or international law firm.

Pay

The expected annual pay range for this position is $225,000 - $260,000. Final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.

Schedule

Firm-paid life insurance, AD&D, LTD, short term medical benefits, accrual of vacation time at the rate of four weeks per year and sick time at the rate of two weeks per year, and 10 paid holidays each year.
