Corporate Associate Attorney (2+ Yrs Exp)

About the role

We are seeking a junior or mid-level corporate associate to join a dynamic and growing business law practice. This role offers early hands-on experience across a wide range of corporate matters, including transactional work and day-to-day client advisory. You will work closely with experienced attorneys and gain meaningful exposure to deals, client relationships, and strategic business issues.

Responsibilities

• Support mergers, acquisitions, and sales of businesses from diligence through closing
• Assist with corporate structuring, reorganizations, and entity management
• Draft and review commercial agreements and transactional documents
• Advise clients on corporate governance and operational matters
• Participate in due diligence and transaction execution
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on complex matters

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in corporate or business law
• Exposure to transactional work such as M&A, financings, or general corporate matters
• Strong analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Admission to Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Rhode Island bar (or ability to obtain within 6–12 months)
• Experience drafting contracts and transactional documents
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Interest in developing a broad-based corporate practice
• Exposure to private equity or sponsor-side work is a plus

Pay

$140,000 - $225,000 per year
