About the role
We are seeking a junior or mid-level corporate associate to join a dynamic and growing business law practice. This role offers early hands-on experience across a wide range of corporate matters, including transactional work and day-to-day client advisory. You will work closely with experienced attorneys and gain meaningful exposure to deals, client relationships, and strategic business issues.
Responsibilities
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and sales of businesses from diligence through closing
- Assist with corporate structuring, reorganizations, and entity management
- Draft and review commercial agreements and transactional documents
- Advise clients on corporate governance and operational matters
- Participate in due diligence and transaction execution
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on complex matters
Requirements
- Admission to Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Rhode Island bar (or ability to obtain within 6–12 months)
- 2+ years of experience in corporate or business law
- Exposure to transactional work such as M&A, financings, or general corporate matters
- Experience drafting contracts and transactional documents
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Interest in developing a broad-based corporate practice
Qualifications
- Strong analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to private equity or sponsor-side work is a plus
Pay
$140,000 - $225,000 per year
