Game Night Promotions Internship

About the role

The Game Day Promotions Intern will work directly with the Director of Game Operations and assist in executing all aspects of Stampede home games. Interns will play a key role in creating an exciting game day atmosphere while learning the operational and promotional side of the sports industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, execution, and teardown of all home games
• Cook up and execute on-ice and in-game promotions
• Support sponsorship activations and partnership fulfillment
• Interact with fans and help create an exceptional game-day experience
• Aid in contests, giveaways, and entertainment elements
• Support game presentation and production efforts
• Perform additional game-day duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Current college student (all class years encouraged to apply) or recent graduate
• Interest in sports, event management, marketing, communications, or related fields
• Ability to work the majority of the team's approximately 30 home games, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
