Qualifications
- Available to work the majority of home games, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to assist with event setup and teardown, including moving tables, chairs, signage, and equipment for press conferences and other game-day activities.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods throughout the event.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones, laptops, cameras, and other event technology.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all fans and guests.
- Create a welcoming and engaging game-day atmosphere through positive fan interactions.
- Staff the Fan Services booth and assist guests with questions, concerns, and special requests.
- Aid in game-day setup, operations, and post-game teardown.
- Support the coordination and setup of post-game press conferences and media needs.
- Aid in promotional activities, in-game entertainment, and special events as assigned.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and enjoyable environment throughout the venue.
- Perform additional game-day operational duties as needed to ensure a successful event.
Gameday Operations Team
The Lincoln Stars Gameday Operations team plays a vital role in delivering a first-class fan experience. Members serve as ambassadors for the organization by assisting guests, supporting game-day logistics, and ensuring events run smoothly from doors opening through post-game breakdown. This internship offers valuable experience in sports management, event operations, customer service, and live entertainment within a professional hockey environment.
