Responsibilities
- Arrive 3 hours before each home game
- Complete duties about an hour after each game
- Hold credentials at the media entrance
- Check in and distribute press meals
- Copy and distribute media materials
- Distribute materials to press row and locker rooms
- Clean up press row after the game
- Attend and assist with post-game press conferences
Qualifications
- Based near the Triangle area
- Entering junior or senior year of college
- Strong personal interaction skills
- Knowledge of hockey is helpful but not required
- Pass a criminal background check
Pay and Benefits
- Pay: $7.25 per hour
- Complimentary access to the Hurricanes' pre-game press meal
