Full Time - Operations - Assistant Community Manager - 9 Del Lofts
About the role
The Assistant Community Manager will lease apartments and work with the Residential Manager in the general administration of the property, performing leasing, operational, administrative, and bookkeeping functions.
Responsibilities
- Lease apartments
- Work with the Residential Manager on property administration
- Perform leasing, operational, administrative, and bookkeeping functions
- Assist the Community Manager in their duties when needed
Requirements
- Ability to apply logical thinking to practical situations
- Legible penmanship and accurate typing skills
- Able to think rationally beyond specific instructions
- Able to deal with lease documents, fill out paperwork, and keep accurate records
- Able to compute rental amounts, prorates, discounts, percentages, and basic math computations
- Able to operate various office equipment and be computer literate
- Good customer service skills to resolve resident and prospect problems
- Good communication skills to interact with all types of people, maintain a professional phone manner, and have a sales capability to lease apartments
- Ability to assist in the Community Manager’s duties when absent
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Prior apartment management, sales, and administrative experience preferred
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current liability insurance coverage
- Tax credit experience preferred (when applicable)
