Full-Time Assistant Deli/Bakery Manager

About the Role

Supervise the Deli/Bakery department, ensuring excellent guest service, operational efficiency, and achievement of sales and profit goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly service to guests.
• Achieve sales, shrink, and profit goals for the department.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and product quality standards.
• Operate according to merchandising and operational guidelines.
• Ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
• Train, guide, and evaluate department hosts.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, and guest service tasks.
• Manage labor budget and scheduling.
• Conduct public address announcements and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Knowledge of deli operations and supervision skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical aspects of the role.
• Effective at teamwork, training, and development.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Proficient with computers and able to communicate effectively with management.
