Full-Time - Deli Assistant Manager

About the role

Seeking a candidate to develop skills as a Deli Manager, overseeing guest service, merchandising, and departmental operations to maximize sales. Will act in the Department Manager's absence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure friendly guest service
• Meet sales, shrink, and profit goals
• Maintain inventory and supplies
• Adhere to merchandising and operational standards
• Uphold product quality
• Ensure sanitation and safety
• Provide staff training and feedback
• Handle product prep, receiving, and stocking
• Manage labor budgets and scheduling
• Perform PA announcements
• Execute additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Friendly personality and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
• Ability to interpret information
• Experience supervising and training staff
• Ability to learn multiple tasks
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• At least 18 years old
• Able to stand and bend for extended periods
• Proficient with computers
• Effective communication with management
