Full-Time Assistant Deli Manager

About the Role

This position oversees deli operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, polite customer service from the deli staff.
• Achieve budgeted sales, profit, and shrink targets.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and product quality standards.
• Follow merchandising, operational, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
• Train, guide, and evaluate deli staff performance.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, and stocking.
• Manage labor budget and scheduling.
• Conduct PA announcements and perform other management duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality and good teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Strong reading, understanding, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of deli operations and supervision experience.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical aspects.
• Effective guest service, selling, and computer skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
