About the role
Join our team as a Frontline Recruiter and utilize your skills to enhance our talent acquisition initiatives, ensuring we attract and retain top-notch candidates for hourly roles within a targeted region of the country. This role covers all recruiting aspects—sourcing, reviewing, screening, scheduling, hiring, and orientation—and may also lead key areas of the hourly recruiting strategy, such as new business start-ups, marketing, vendor management, process design, change management, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business and HR site contacts to determine hiring needs for hourly recruiting, communicate status updates, and meet key objectives.
- Flawlessly manage candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Manage postings for designated locations, monitor throughout the hiring process, close vacancies, and ensure files are complete.
- Review submitted applications/resumes for job fit and pre-hire driver screening requirements.
- Prescreen (phone or in-person) qualified applicants.
- Schedule candidates for interviews with hiring managers at their respective sites.
- Maintain active relationships within networks to gain knowledge of competitive activities and best practices.
- Coach and provide training support to hiring managers.
- Provide standard reports, projections, and data on Hourly Recruiting topics.
- Evaluate recruiting productivity to identify challenges, develop improvement plans, and implement approved changes.
- Determine marketing and sourcing strategies to meet hourly recruitment hiring demand.
- Participate in specialized projects (e.g., start-up activity, campus/remote hiring events, networking, and marketing).
- Deliver subject matter expertise for Hourly Regional Recruiting projects across the organization.
- Participate in job fairs and community networking opportunities.
- Verify employment qualifications, pre-hire screening requirements, background checks, and drug screens.
- Draft offer letters and launch/monitor pre-hire paperwork in the system.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in business or human resources or 3+ years of human resources experience (preferred).
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources, or related field (preferred).
- 1+ years of general HR experience (preferred).
- 1+ years of high-volume recruiting experience (preferred).
