About the role

The Front Desk Coordinator I position at Smile Doctors is a dynamic role within a supportive and growing team. This position focuses on administrative duties and customer service, ensuring smooth operations and positive patient experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and receives customers, determines the nature of their visit, and notifies appropriate team members.
  • Performs various administrative tasks including answering and screening calls, taking messages, checking-in patients, verifying insurance information, notifying clinicians of patient arrivals, making appointments, printing/reprinting appointment reminders, and school/work excuses.
  • Makes changes to the patient schedule as necessary.
  • Captures and updates patient information in the chart.
  • Coordinates payment arrangements or account resolutions.
  • Manages shipments and deliveries.
  • Takes payments and posts to accounts.
  • Drives internal marketing initiatives and fosters participation from everyone.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of administrative experience preferred.
  • Bilingual a plus, but not required.
