Role Overview
As an Independent Freight Agent, you will build and manage your own book of business within a supported framework. Your main focus is on sales and customer relationships, while we handle the back-office operations. With expertise in temperature-controlled transportation, you will explore various freight markets, leveraging our established authority and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and manage freight accounts across the Eastern U.S.
- Match shipper freight with suitable carriers using our brokerage and asset-based divisions.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships in diverse freight segments.
- Negotiate rates and service agreements with shippers and carriers.
- Proactively communicate load status, issues, and solutions.
- Work independently, collaborating with our operations and support teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experienced freight brokers or sales professionals with existing book of business.
- Self-starters and entrepreneurs with a brokerage or fleet operation.
- Relationship-driven mindset focused on long-term partnerships.
- Ability to operate under established carrier authority without MC authority.

Compensation
Competitive commission structure with transparent terms; earnings directly linked to your business growth, with no cap. Qualified operators may receive a sign-on bonus up to $20,000.
