Field Service Tech 1

About the role

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for repairing and maintaining heavy equipment across various job sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of heavy equipment issues, including complete machine overhauls and minor repairs.
• Order and install necessary parts to complete repairs.
• Document work orders using Anderson's systems and ensure repairs are completed and machines are operational.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with a two-year technical degree or comparable military training.
• At least 5 years of work experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of equipment operations, mechanical functions, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and diagnostic programs provided by manufacturers.
• Own adequate hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license, with a CDL preferred.

• Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of heavy equipment operations and maintenance.
• Ability to work safely and comply with industry regulations.

Pay

$36.36 - $37.96 per hour.

Schedule

Hours vary based on job site needs and may require overnight travel.
