About the role
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for repairing and maintaining heavy equipment across various job sites.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of heavy equipment issues, including complete machine overhauls and minor repairs.
- Order and install necessary parts to complete repairs.
- Document work orders using Anderson's systems and ensure repairs are completed and machines are operational.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with a two-year technical degree or comparable military training.
- At least 5 years of work experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of equipment operations, mechanical functions, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and diagnostic programs provided by manufacturers.
- Own adequate hand tools.
- Valid driver’s license, with a CDL preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operations and maintenance.
- Ability to work safely and comply with industry regulations.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and computer systems.
Pay
$36.36 - $37.96 per hour.
Schedule
Hours vary based on job site needs and may require overnight travel.
