About The Role As a Senior Facets Product Specialist, you will make an impact by configuring, optimizing, and supporting Facets-based solutions that enable efficient, compliant, and member-centric payer operations. You will be a valued member of the healthcare technology team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, product owners, analysts, quality assurance teams, data teams, and cross-functional healthcare operations partners. In This Role, You Will Configure and enhance Facets modules supporting claims processing, benefits administration, provider management, enrollment, and membership functions. Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex payer requirements into scalable technical solutions and detailed system specifications. Analyze payer operations and claims processes to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improved operational efficiency. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions that minimize business disruption. Develop, test, and maintain Facets workflows, configurations, and integrations to ensure data integrity, performance, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with QA teams to define and execute testing strategies that ensure high-quality solution delivery. Optimize Facets performance by analyzing transaction volumes, system behavior, and integration points. Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and operational procedures. Support Agile delivery activities including requirements refinement, sprint planning, releases, and production deployments. Mentor team members on Facets best practices, payer processes, and technical solution design. work model We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. What you need to have to be considered Strong hands-on experience configuring and supporting Facets across claims, membership, billing, provider, and enrollment functions. Deep understanding of healthcare payer operations, including claims adjudication, benefits administration, provider management, and regulatory compliance. Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into functional and technical Facets solutions. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis in enterprise healthcare environments. Experience with Facets integrations, data flows, and interoperability between upstream and downstream systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create clear technical documentation. Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments. These will help you stand out Experience supporting large-scale healthcare payer transformation initiatives. Knowledge of healthcare data analytics, reporting, and operational performance measurement. Familiarity with healthcare regulatory requirements and industry standards. Experience mentoring developers, analysts, or configuration teams. Exposure to healthcare platform modernization, automation, and process improvement initiatives. AHIP certification or other healthcare payer industry certifications. Completion of Facets product training or advanced Facets certifications. Applicants will be accepted till 09/30/2026 Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. *Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future* The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $72K - $80K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
