Experienced Truck Technician / Mechanic

About the role

As our Experienced Truck Technician / Mechanic, you’ll maintain and repair medium and heavy-duty Class 7 & 8 trucks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high standards. You’ll diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, repair or rebuild major components (e.g., cabs, steering systems, engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, electrical systems, air systems), and work alongside highly trained technicians in a fully equipped shop.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in medium and heavy-duty trucks.
• Repair or rebuild major components such as engines, transmissions, axles, differentials, brakes, clutches, electrical systems, and air systems.
• Maintain and maximize truck uptime to support customer success.
• Perform high-quality repairs using provided tools, training, and support.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working on medium and heavy-duty Class 7/8 trucks (engine repair, electronic troubleshooting, HVAC systems, chassis repair).
• Diesel tech degree with mechanical aptitude/background accepted in lieu of experience.
• Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge; Cummins and MX software experience preferred.
• Self-motivated with strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Must provide own tools.

Pay

$33.80–38.15/hour (depending on experience).
