Experienced Milling Operator

About the role

We are seeking an Experienced Operator in Milling Equipment to join our team at Walbec Group. Walbec produces high-quality construction materials and offers professional design, engineering, and construction services through its six companies.

Responsibilities

• Operate several types of power construction equipment, including utility milling machines (concrete or asphalt), skidsteer, belly brooms, pulverizers/recyclers, etc.
• Ensure all operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.
• Minimum of two years previous work experience in asphalt/concrete road milling.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Punctuality and dependability are essential.
• Ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Tolerance and ability to work in variable weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments.
• Member of the appropriate trade union or willing to become a union member.
• One year previous work experience in cold milling machine operation preferred.

Requirements
