Milling Operator

About the role

Provides design function by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Will provide leadership by driving Quality and Process improvements in a manufacturing environment. The Mill Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient set up, inspection and operation of equipment/machinery utilized in the processing of products. Responsible for following standard operating procedures, including but not limited to, completing production related paperwork and meeting product specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (a plus)
• Proficient understanding of basic SolidWorks, AutoCAD, drafting skills (a plus)
• Language skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence; ability to write simple notes.
• Reasoning ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
