Milling Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Cook up truck movements safely, guiding them into position for loading and unloading.
• Support the machine operator by monitoring the conveyor, milling path, and surrounding environment.
• Maintain the work area cleanliness by removing debris from the milling drum and cutter housing.
• Identify and signal potential hazards to prevent damage to the milling machine.
• Aid in grade control to ensure proper milling depth and alignment.

Requirements

• 2 years of Milling Operator experience is required.
• Use clear hand signals and brief radio communication to guide operators and drivers.
• Show strong situational awareness in a fast-paced work zone.
• Quickly identify and address hazards or operational issues.
• Be able to work long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Work closely with operators, truck drivers, and crew members.
• Willingness to travel within Arizona and work weekends and overtime.
• Age 21 or older.
