About the role
We are seeking an Expanded Function Dental Assistant to support dental providers chairside in clinics located in Woodburn and Salem, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Updating patient records
- Performing X-rays and intraoral photos
- Sewing instruments with infection control protocols
- Auxiliary in periodontal care
- Providing oral health education
- Assisting in Orthodontics
- Managing clinic workflow
- Training staff
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- E.F.D.A. certification within 90 days
- BLS certification
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish
Qualifications
- Knowledge of dental terminology, materials, infection control, and computer programs
- Manual dexterity, professionalism, patient interaction, and teamwork skills
