We are seeking an Expanded Function Dental Assistant to support dental providers chairside in clinics across Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Updating patient records
- Performing X-rays and intraoral photos
- Preparing instruments with infection-control protocols
- Providing oral health education
- May involve assisting with orthodontics
- Managing department workflow
- Training staff
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- E.F.D.A. certification within 90 days
- BLS certification
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish
Skills
- Effective communication
- Computer proficiency (Electronic Dental Records, Outlook, Word, Excel)
- The ability to interact professionally with diverse patients
