About the role

We are seeking an Expanded Function Dental Assistant to support dental providers chairside, perform X-rays, intraoral photos, record updates, and assist with infection control.

Responsibilities

• Support dental providers chairside
• Perform X-rays and intraoral photos
• Record patient updates
• Absorb and assist with infection control protocols
• Maintain patient records
• Prepare instruments
• Assist in periodontal and orthodontic procedures
• May involve lead duties, staff training, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• EFDA certification within 90 days
• BLS certification
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of dental terminology, materials, and infection control
• Manual dexterity and computer skills
