Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining patient records, updating medical history and vital signs
- Performing complete X-ray procedures and managing dental imaging
- Aiding with periodontal care, sterilizing instruments, and infection control
- Preparing instruments and materials for examinations and treatments
- Providing oral hygiene education and patient counseling
- Supporting orthodontic procedures, including record collection and appliance placement
- Performing preventative care such as polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants
- Supporting the implementation of infection control protocols and maintaining a sterile environment
- Performing other duties as assigned to ensure quality patient care
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED
- OR EFDA certification within 90 days of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish/Cantonese/Vietnamese) preferred
- Strong manual dexterity, professionalism, and basic computer skills in dental records and office software
