Events Operations Supervisor (Bowling and Family Entertainment)

About the role

We’re looking for a Supervisor to help lead the team at our new family entertainment facility opening soon at North County Mall, Escondido. If you enjoy video games, bowling, karaoke, and working in a fun environment, then you’re the kind of person we’d love to hire!

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to our customers.
• Provides customers with bowling tips and techniques.
• Conducts alcohol and age restriction control in accordance with company policies.
• Coaches, develops, and manages an effective staff for the Bowling and Events Department.
• Reviews department time sheets for accuracy of hours and overtime.
• Responsible for the sales and profit projections of the bowling and events department.
• Proactively supports any promotional activities within the store.
• Audits refund and/or credits against itemized sales from the previous day; and cash drawers and transactions.
• Audits and tracks special events.
• Creates Daily Audit Report with sales information and auditing discoveries for store management.
• Affirms that the facility is always clean and organized.
• Ensures satisfactory maintenance, appearance, and condition of assigned facilities.
• Enforces compliance with all local, state, federal regulations and company policy pertaining to safety and loss prevention.
• Complies with all OSHA requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old to handle and serve alcohol.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years hospitality management experience, preferably in the entertainment / retail / hospitality industries.
