The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Northern Region Highways & Aviation, Western District is extending the recruitment period for the Equipment Operator Lead/Journey 3 position to attract a broader applicant pool. This role is essential for maintaining safe and efficient airport and highway operations.
Responsibilities
- Snow and ice control
- Pavement maintenance
- Runway inspections
- Equipment operation and maintenance
- Repairs to airport infrastructure such as signs, lighting, and fencing
- Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) operations
- Airfield inspections
- Wildlife hazard management
- Airport security inspections
- Ensuring compliance with FAA and airport safety requirements
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must hold a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a N-Tanker endorsement. They must also be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and register with the federal CDL Drug & Alcohol Testing Clearinghouse.
Qualifications
Applicants should demonstrate accountability, conscientiousness, flexibility, and self-management skills. They must also be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and adhere to safety and regulatory requirements.
Skills
