Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on vehicles, trailers, loaders, rollers, pavers, and other construction equipment.
  • Conduct safety and DOT inspections, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders for effective repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and assist with parts procurement and inventory.
  • Operate diagnostic, welding, and maintenance tools safely, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Support field operations by working in shop, on-site, or from service trucks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in diesel repair, equipment or fleet maintenance, or related fields.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Valid driver’s license; CDL-A and tanker endorsement preferred.
  • Welding, fabrication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
