Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on vehicles, trailers, loaders, rollers, pavers, and other construction equipment.
- Conduct safety and DOT inspections, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders for effective repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and assist with parts procurement and inventory.
- Operate diagnostic, welding, and maintenance tools safely, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Support field operations by working in shop, on-site, or from service trucks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of two years' experience in diesel repair, equipment or fleet maintenance, or related fields.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL-A and tanker endorsement preferred.
- Welding, fabrication skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
