Equipment Mechanics & Diesel Technicians

Role: Equipment Mechanics & Diesel Technicians responsible for maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and pavement preservation machinery. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventive and emergency maintenance on vehicles and equipment.Repair diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and HVAC systems.Conduct safety and DOT inspections, read technical manuals, and maintain accurate work records.Operate diagnostic, welding, and maintenance tools, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.Assist with parts procurement and inventory management as needed. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.Minimum of two years' experience in diesel repair, equipment maintenance, or heavy equipment repair.Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Valid driver’s license; CDL-A and tanker endorsement preferred.Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
