Equipment Mechanics & Diesel Technicians

Role Overview We are seeking skilled Equipment Mechanics and Diesel Technicians responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and pavement preservation machinery. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled, preventive, and emergency repairs on various vehicles and equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and HVAC systems.Conduct inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance, including DOT inspections.Maintain and repair construction machinery like loaders, rollers, pavers, and trucks.Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders.Manage maintenance records, parts procurement, and inventory.Operate diagnostic, welding, and maintenance tools safely.Maintain a clean and organized work environment and perform additional assigned duties. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.At least two years of experience in diesel repair or equipment maintenance.Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Valid driver’s license; CDL-A and tanker endorsement preferred.Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
