Role: Equipment Mechanics & Diesel Technicians responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and pavement preservation machinery. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, rebuild, and perform preventive and emergency repairs on various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and HVAC systems.Conduct inspections, maintain equipment readiness, and ensure safety compliance.Read manuals, work orders, and schematics; operate diagnostic, welding, and maintenance tools safely.Manage parts procurement, inventory, and maintain accurate maintenance records.Support field operations, work in shops or on job sites, and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.At least two years of experience in diesel repair, equipment or fleet maintenance, or related fields.Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Valid driver’s license; CDL-A and tanker endorsement preferred.Welding/fabrication experience is a plus.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and operate tools and diagnostic equipment safely. Additional Attributes: Safety-focused, mechanically inclined, with excellent problem-solving skills and capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
