Equipment Mechanics & Diesel Technicians

About the role

We are seeking skilled Equipment Mechanics and Diesel Technicians to support the maintenance, repair, and operation of fleet vehicles, heavy machinery, and pavement preservation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on various vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct safety and DOT inspections, maintain records, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain and repair loaders, rollers, pavers, trucks, trailers, and other construction machinery.
• Use diagnostic tools, welding equipment, and maintenance software effectively and safely.
• Assist with parts procurement, inventory management, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience in diesel repair, equipment maintenance, or heavy machinery repair.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL-A and tanker endorsement preferred.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and work safely in a fast-paced environment.
