Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on construction vehicles, loaders, rollers, pavers, trucks, and trailers
  • Conduct safety and DOT inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Read manuals, schematics, and work orders to accurately complete tasks
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist with parts procurement
  • Operate diagnostic, welding, and maintenance tools safely
  • Keep work areas organized and adhere to safety standards
  • Support additional duties related to equipment maintenance and repair

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
  • At least two years of experience in diesel repair or equipment maintenance
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Valid driver’s license; CDL-A and tank endorsement preferred
  • Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
