Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on construction vehicles, loaders, rollers, pavers, trucks, and trailers
- Conduct safety and DOT inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Read manuals, schematics, and work orders to accurately complete tasks
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist with parts procurement
- Operate diagnostic, welding, and maintenance tools safely
- Keep work areas organized and adhere to safety standards
- Support additional duties related to equipment maintenance and repair
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- At least two years of experience in diesel repair or equipment maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Valid driver’s license; CDL-A and tank endorsement preferred
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
