Role Overview: This position involves maintaining, repairing, and diagnosing heavy equipment, fleet vehicles, and pavement preservation machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled, preventive, and emergency repairs on various vehicles and equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and HVAC systems.Inspect, rebuild, and maintain equipment such as loaders, rollers, pavers, trucks, and trailers.Conduct safety and DOT inspections, adhere to regulatory standards, and maintain accurate work records.Assist with parts procurement, operate tools and diagnostic equipment, and ensure a clean work environment.Support field operations by working in shops, active job sites, or from service trucks. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred.At least two years of experience in diesel repair, equipment maintenance, or related fields.Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems.Valid driver’s license; CDL-A and tanker endorsement preferred.Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and use necessary tools and software.
