Equipment Mechanics & Diesel Technicians
About the role
We are seeking skilled Equipment Mechanics and Diesel Technicians to support maintenance, repair, and operation of fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and pavement preservation machinery. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and HVAC systems. Perform scheduled, emergency, and preventive repairs on fleet and construction equipment, including loaders, rollers, pavers, trucks, and trailers.
Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders; maintain accurate records and work documentation. Assist with parts procurement, inventory management, and operate diagnostic, welding, and maintenance tools safely. Conduct safety and DOT inspections, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least two years of experience in diesel repair, equipment or fleet maintenance, or related fields
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and mechanical skills
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL-A and tanker endorsements are a plus
- Welding, fabrication experience, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are advantageous
