This role involves supporting the maintenance, repair, and operation of fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and pavement preservation machinery. Key Responsibilities Include Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systemsPerforming preventive, scheduled, and emergency repairs on various construction and paving equipmentConducting safety and DOT inspections in compliance with policies and regulationsMaintaining and repairing equipment such as loaders, rollers, pavers, trucks, and trailersReading manuals, schematics, and work orders, and maintaining accurate maintenance recordsAssisting with parts procurement, inventory management, and operating diagnostic and welding toolsEnsuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment Qualifications And Skills High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferredAt least two years of experience in diesel repair, equipment maintenance, or related fieldsStrong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systemsValid driver’s license; CDL-A and tanker endorsements preferredWelding and fabrication skills are a plusAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and operate tools safely in a fast-paced setting This position offers competitive pay, benefits, sign-on bonuses, and opportunities for career growth.
