Role: Equipment Mechanics & Diesel Technicians Responsibilities: Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and pavement preservation machinery. Tasks include repairing engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, HVAC systems, and conducting safety and DOT inspections. Maintain and prepare equipment for daily operations, manage parts inventory, operate diagnostic and welding tools, and ensure a clean and safe work environment. May work in shop, on job sites, or from service trucks. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum two years' experience in diesel repair, equipment maintenance, or related fields. Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Valid driver’s license required; CDL-A and tanker endorsement preferred. Welding and fabrication skills are a plus. Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
