Role Overview We are seeking skilled Equipment Mechanics and Diesel Technicians to support the maintenance, repair, and operation of fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and pavement preservation machinery. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on various vehicles and equipment used in construction and pavement preservation.Perform scheduled, emergency, and preventative repairs on fleet vehicles, trailers, loaders, rollers, pavers, and other machinery.Inspect equipment, conduct safety and DOT inspections, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.Read manuals, schematics, and work orders; maintain accurate maintenance records.Assist with parts procurement, operate diagnostic and welding tools, and maintain a clean work environment.Support field operations by working in the shop, on job sites, or from service trucks as needed. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.Minimum two years of experience in diesel repair, equipment maintenance, or related fields.Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.Valid driver’s license; CDL-A and tanker endorsement preferred.Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and operate tools and diagnostic equipment safely.
