Epic ASAP Applications Analyst
About the role
An opportunity exists for an Epic ASAP Analyst Consultant to support a clinical application services team. This role involves analyzing, designing, implementing, maintaining, optimizing, and supporting Epic applications and related clinical systems. The analyst will collaborate with operational and technical teams to improve workflows, resolve issues, and enhance system functionality for a leading pediatric healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot application and system issues, identifying root causes to resolve or escalate problems.
- Plan, design, implement, maintain, and optimize Epic applications.
- Gather, validate, and translate business and technical requirements into system design solutions.
- Collaborate with end-users, vendors, and IT teams to develop and maintain systems.
- Design, build, and optimize workflows to support clinical and operational needs.
- Configure and integrate hardware and software solutions.
- Complete testing, validation, and debugging activities.
- Create and maintain application, design, and technical documentation.
- Cookordinate with Epic and third-party vendors to resolve issues and improve system functionality.
- Review system upgrades and monthly updates for operational impact.
- Provide Tier 2 support for supported applications and systems.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years of related experience is required.
- An Epic ASAP Analyst Certification is required.
- Experience supporting clinical applications and healthcare workflows.
- Experience gathering technical and operational requirements.
- Knowledge of Epic application design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization.
- Ability to collaborate with clinicians, operational leaders, IT teams, and vendors.
- Experience supporting system upgrades and release management processes.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in Epic application design and implementation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The role is remote and flexible, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work.
