About the role
This position supports information technology applications through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing support. Duties include configuring, testing, installing, monitoring, and maintaining various healthcare applications and their technologies.
Responsibilities
- Gathers, validates, and translates technological requirements into design and development specifications
- Supports stakeholders by analyzing and diagnosing problems to determine resolution
- Configures, tests, installs, implements, monitors, and maintains common and complex systems
- Documents and recommends workflow changes and technical/functional designs
- Serves as Product Manager and completes PM functions for small to mid-size projects with multiple teams
- Collaborates with peers, internal and external stakeholders, and vendors
- Follows documentation and change management standards
- Participates in the development of training and knowledge-based materials
- Configures and integrates electronic and mechanical hardware with software products
- Develops and understands business reporting needs for end users
- Attends and participates in team, project, and department meetings
- Assists in developing and maintaining testing plans and scripts
- Works with project requestors to complete the minimum viable product of a demand in ServiceHub
- Requests resources for projects and enhancements using ServiceHub Resource Plan process
Requirements
- Epic certification or accreditation in ClinDoc, Stork, ASAP
- Two (2) years of Epic build experience
- Operate computers and other IT equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands
- See and read computer monitors and documents
- Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work
- Work City: Salt Lake City, Work State: Utah
- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare, business, or related field (preferred)
- Four (4) years of work experience, or actively working towards a bachelor's degree with four (4) years' experience working within a related area (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, Excel (pivot tables), Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Word
- In-depth business and application knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of system analysis and operating systems
- Skilled in assessing needs and determining through documentation what the best approach might be
- Skilled at problem definition and data collection by establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general industry periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write correspondence and process documents
Skills
