Job Description

The Role at a Glance: As the Enrollment & Student Success Coordinator - Student & Academic Affairs, you will play a central role in supporting the student experience within the College of Dental Medicine. From coordinating signature student events and advising student organizations to supporting mentoring, career development, and student engagement initiatives, you'll help create a vibrant and connected community where students can thrive. In addition, you'll partner closely with Academic Affairs to support student success through the coordination of assessments, academic processes, student progress tracking, and academic records management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple projects, and making a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys from enrollment through graduation.

What You'll Do And Why You'll Love This Role

  • Create unforgettable student experiences by planning and coordinating major College of Dental Medicine events, including Orientation Week, White Coat Ceremony, Spring Banquet, Senior Banquet, Hooding Ceremony, and other student-focused programs.
  • Support and guide student organizations and leaders by overseeing student government and dental student organizations, coordinating officer elections, providing leadership training, and helping students successfully manage their clubs and initiatives.
  • Play a key role in student success and academic support by coordinating exams, managing assessment logistics, supporting remediation and reassessment processes, and facilitating communication between students, faculty, and Academic Affairs.
  • Help students prepare for their future careers by coordinating mentoring programs, supporting career development initiatives, and connecting students and alumni with educational and professional resources.
  • Serve as a central connector across the College by collaborating with Enrollment & Student Success, Academic Affairs, faculty, staff, vendors, and community partners to support programs, events, and student engagement initiatives.
  • Drive effective communication and student engagement by managing student announcements, supporting social media content, maintaining student achievement records, and responding to student inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Lead and coordinate important initiatives by organizing meetings, preparing agendas, tracking action items, and supporting committees that advance College and University goals.
  • Make a lasting impact on the student experience by contributing to a supportive, engaging, and student-centered environment where future dental professionals can thrive.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with progressive responsibilities in an education setting
