Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and strengthen strategic contractor relationships, serving as a trusted advisor who proactively identifies opportunities to build on existing successes and advance program objectives.
- Engage directly with program team to develop forward-looking strategies that align with their evolving goals, Key Performance Indicators, regulatory environment, and market conditions.
- Develop and facilitate custom training initiatives aligned with program objectives and performance improvement in delivering energy-efficient project installations and high customer satisfaction.
- Perform ridealongs with contractors to reinforce training and/or areas that require improvements.
- Regularly collaborate with contractors to improve performance, address issues, and promote success.
- Issue resolution: promptly address and resolve program and contractor concerns, reinforcing confidence and long-term collaboration.
- Process improvement: recommend and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and project results.
- Computer skills & data analysis: analyze data, use standard email and Microsoft programs, use client Salesforce portal, and submit electronic reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be located in Kern County, California.
- Ability to travel up to 80% locally within Kern County Area and potentially other parts of PG&E service territory.
- Valid California driver's license, clean driving record, minimum level of automobile insurance.
- 2+ years of experience in the energy efficiency industry, with a solid understanding of the contractor landscape and networks.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with individuals and businesses from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Enthusiasm for sustainability, energy efficiency, and the mission of our organization.
- Natural Gas Appliance Testing Technician (NGAT) certified or willing to obtain once hired.
- Strong computer skills, including ability to utilize basic functionality of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and web-based applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
Preferred Skills, Education And Experience
- Inspection and training experience.
- Experience in working in Salesforce-based CRM.
