Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and strengthen strategic contractor relationships, serving as a trusted advisor who proactively identifies opportunities to build on existing successes and advance program objectives.
  • Engage directly with program team to develop forward-looking strategies that align with their evolving goals, Key Performance Indicators, regulatory environment, and market conditions.
  • Develop and facilitate custom training initiatives aligned with program objectives and performance improvement in delivering energy-efficient project installations and high customer satisfaction.
  • Perform ridealongs with contractors to reinforce training and/or areas that require improvements.
  • Regularly collaborate with contractors to improve performance, address issues, and promote success.
  • Address and resolve program and contractor concerns, reinforcing confidence and long-term collaboration.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and project results.
  • Analyze data, use standard email and Microsoft programs, use client Salesforce portal, and submit electronic reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Kern County, California.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% locally within Kern County Area and potentially other parts of PG&E service territory.
  • Valid California driver's license, clean driving record, minimum level of automobile insurance.
  • 2+ years of experience in the energy efficiency industry, with a solid understanding of the contractor landscape and networks.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with individuals and businesses from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Enthusiasm for sustainability, energy efficiency, and the mission of our organization.
  • Natural Gas Appliance Testing Technician (NGAT) certified or willing to obtain once hired.
  • Strong computer skills, including ability to utilize basic functionality of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and web-based applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

Preferred Skills, Education And Experience

  • Inspection and training experience.
  • Experience in working in Salesforce-based CRM.
