• 9-bed ED
• 7-bed inpatient unit
• 12-hour shifts
• Full lab and radiology capability

Community

The county seat of Bastrop County, Texas, Bastrop is located about 30 miles southeast of Austin. It is part of the Greater Austin metropolitan area. Known as "the Heart of the Lost Pines," Bastrop is famous for its beautiful outdoor vistas. Among these are the revitalized Bastrop State Park, the 900-acre Lake Bastrop, and a handful of lovely parks (including the incredible Dinosaur Park).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the hospital and nursing leadership while supporting and leading your Physicians and APPs
• Serve as a leader both within the emergency department and across the organization
• Oversee the operations of the ED in collaboration with nursing leadership and hospital administration
• Supervise the EM staff, per the bylaws, policies and procedures of the institution
• Represent the ED in the community and within the hospital medical staff
