About the role
Regional Medical Director – Emergency Medicine (full‑time) leading a well‑established and highly regarded emergency medicine program across the San Antonio metropolitan area. Provides physician leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction within one of South Texas’s premier healthcare systems. Works collaboratively with hospital administration, medical staff leadership, and Methodist system leadership to ensure delivery of high‑quality, patient‑centered care while advancing clinical excellence, physician engagement, and operational performance across the emergency medicine programs.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Texas medical license (free of restrictions, probationary terms, or conditions)
- No history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension in any jurisdiction
- Current or willing to obtain unrestricted DEA registration
- Demonstrated leadership experience within emergency medicine
- Strong communication and physician engagement skills
