About the role
As a medical director at USACS, you will collaborate with hospital and nursing leadership while supporting and leading physicians and advanced practice providers. You will serve as a leader both within the emergency department and across the organization. Through our model of shared ownership, you will have the opportunity to influence broad company decisions and help facilitate the development of new leaders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of the ED in collaboration with nursing leadership and hospital administration
- Supervise the EM staff, per the bylaws, policies and procedures of the institution
- Represent the ED in the community and within the hospital medical staff
About Dell Seton Medical Center
Dell Seton Medical Center is the only Level I Trauma Center serving Central Texas and is an accredited teaching hospital. It is also the fourth-busiest Emergency Department in Texas. This state-of-the-art facility opened in 2017 and is recognized as a Certified Stroke Center and has been awarded Magnet Status for nursing excellence. The hospital serves as the primary safety net for the poor and uninsured as well as the primary teaching hospital for the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin.

Compensation
- Employee Ownership: $100,000 equity ownership for all full-time physicians after 3 years of service
