About the role

A Medical Director opportunity in emergency medicine at a new freestanding Emergency Department (7-bed ED) and Urgent Care center (5-bed Urgent Care).

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality patient care in both the ED and Urgent Care settings.
• Oversee clinical operations and ensure adherence to patient-first standards.
• Manage departmental performance with local accountability, supported by leadership development tools.
• Provide clinical leadership and ensure excellence in emergency care.
• Supervise shifts while collaborating with a cohesive, well-staffed team.
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation.
• Support community engagement and local healthcare initiatives.

Requirements

• Board-certified in emergency medicine.
• Preferred experience in medical directorship.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay

Competitive 1099 compensation package.

Schedule

• Shifts available: 7 AM – 7 PM and 7 PM – 7 AM.
• Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage provided in Urgent Care.
